After the morning chores, some dentists from Lima came to our home and did free checkup for all the kids. They also held mini-lessons for each age group on how to brush teeth and prevent oral disease. Finally, they gave a brush and samples of toothpastes to all the kids. They really need new brushes badly, because all their brushes are pretty worn out, so it was nice that they came and gave them new ones! Some of the kids had some bad teeth pulled out, including Hector who had two pulled out. I feel sorry for him as he showed me his teeth. He's 12 and his teeth are permanent.
